We aim to bring truth and light to the sobering realities of what is happening in Myanmar, and the urgent needs of the people.

Rooted in compassion, we strive to organize and rally individuals and organizations who can bring assistance, influence and relief. We see the value and potential of a resilient, optimistic people and a country blessed with abundant natural resources.

We believe the next generation of Myanmar deserves to have hope of something far better. While current circumstances may seem overwhelmingly difficult, almost impossible, we hold fast to the belief that beauty can come from ashes.

Even as she suffers more than any time in her history, we believe Myanmar is in fact on the verge of a rebirth.

Liberty is within reach. A key success factor will be organized and concerted action from outside Myanmar. We cannot afford to miss the opportunity. This action must be joined by all those who treasure liberty. Now is the time for Liberty in Myanmar. Now is also the time to bring assistance to those who are suffering so much.

We will create global awareness to the plight of the people of Myanmar:

We will provide ongoing, factual representation of what is happening on the ground
We will document the stories of beauty and courage in the face of brutality
We will highlight humanitarian needs so that capable outside parties can bring assistance

As awareness grows, we will organize and rally like-minded organizations who have the means to help in diverse areas.

As the country’s free areas grow, we will also plan for the next stage of the country’s development. The re-born nation of Myanmar emerging from the civil war will have an overwhelming need for essential services. Liberty in Myanmar will be prepared to bring partners who can help develop a societal framework for the benefit of the people.

We will stand with the 54 million people and be a voice for the oppressed. We will step alongside the freed nation and help guide them on their path to enduring liberty. We will be an ongoing helper and friend to the Myanmar people in their time of great need and great opportunity. Our reward will be witnessing first-hand the rebirth of a nation rooted in liberty.
