Our mission to help bring life-changing peace and liberty for the people of Myanmar

Since the February 1, 2021 coup, Myanmar’s military junta has committed numerous abuses against the population that amount to crimes against humanity.

The junta has responded to massive popular opposition to the coup with killings, torture, and arbitrary detention of people who merely want election results to be respected and a government that reflects the popular will.
Liberty in Myanmar chooses not to ignore the cries of the people. Liberty in Myanmar will respond and help them in their time of great need. Liberty in Myanmar will stand up and help give a voice to the suffering.
Liberty in Myanmar will provide direct services, connect like-minded organizations, and serve as a rallying point for the global community. We will call for governments, businesses and individuals in the U.S. and globally to help fight the oppression and injustice.
We do this because we believe light will overcome darkness, good will prevail over evil. We do this for the sake of the people and the sake of a nation.
For us,
Liberty is much more than a concept.
It is the foundation for a newborn nation.
